One other thing that I forgot to mention -- a couple of days ago a dear friend of mine told me that she'd been thinking of me and this trip, and that she just felt weird about it all of the sudden. She actually mentioned the phrase "red flags" when she described how she felt. Now this is a very grounded person, and I respect her completely. She couldn't explain why she felt the way she did, just as she was praying, that feeling just came over her. Ever since then, I've been feeling strange about the trip. And then I miss my flight in a bizarre turn of events. It was enough for me to give it up, even though I'm terribly disappointed. Good point, Kelvin.
