Hello, Salt Lake City!

Tomorrow is T-Day (that’s trip day for those of you who I have eluded with my tiny dab of humor), and I am really getting excited about it. Kelly Anderson of Startup Princess is truly a fabulous organizer, and I know this event is going to absolutely rock. I’m still not packed and I’ve got some last minute shopping to do, but I feel good about my work, I’ve got emergency email going right to my phone, and I feel incredibly grateful for this opportunity.

I’m especially excited to meet all of the amazing women who will be there. Kelly sent out the roster today, and the list is impressive. In particular, I can’t wait to meet Sarah Wright of Sarah Jane Studios (her work makes me happy!), Marie LaBaron of Make and Takes (who inspires me to spend more time playing), and Gabrielle Blair of Design Mom (because really…who DOESN’T want to meet her?).

And oh yes, hopefully I’ll come back completely inspired in our online marketing efforts. Sometimes it gets put on the back burner when the work is coming so fast and furious, but that’s WHY the work is coming in the first place. It’s easy to overlook the benefits of our marketing efforts because it can sometimes seem invisible, but it’s how we got to this place in a little over 8 months. It’s how we are getting “there” eventually, wherever that is. Wish me luck! (But one more post before I go…)

Yep, I sure have been. But that’s just because I like to be fashionably late with my posting sometimes. Umm…yep, that’s the reason. :)
