Erica Swanson is one of those people that it’s a guilty pleasure to know. Her interior design work is sensual and awe-inspiring, and we wanted to revolve her brand around that feeling. Dark, gutsy, and just short of forbidden.

One of the things that we struggled with were naming her design packages. She has this one genius product that is a completely off-site deal. She gathers the information for your room, does a complete re-design, and then sends you this gorgeous package in the mail with step-by-step instructions, materials, everything. Our limitations were that we didn’t want it to sound cheesy, and we wanted to use the stylized “D” in her logo. Design on the Dirty was born.

From that, all of the content strategy came together. Erica found her voice and went traipsing off into the sunset, hand in hand with her new website. Since then, she’s been nominated for a BlogLuxe Award in the “Most Provocative” category. (Yeah, you should vote for her.) Congrats, Erica!
