I get so much inspiration from the “Advice to sink in slowly” project for design students. My new year’s resolution is to take a nature walk for at least 15 minutes a day. The biggest challenge is to put on my walking shoes and shut the door behind me. The rest is easy.

“There are few things in business/life that I come across that I don’t hesitate one second on handing over money. This was one of them. So glad I’m on the early bird list!” Brooke Snow (Mo is delighted!)

this is such a good idea. 8 years ago I moved from NYC to rural Ireland. The increased exposure to ‘the out of doors’ has, I believe, had a huge impact on both my well being and my sense of self. There’s something about the connection with the elements that helps with almost all aspects of your life. Enjoy your resolution!
Thanks David! The trick will be reminding myself when it’s below freezing.
It’s 28 degrees outside right now, here in Michigan. I need to move back southward! I lived in Myrtle Beach for a while and I loved the weather, but Myrtle Beach is one of those places that is “a great place to visit but you wouldn’t want to live there.” Although I miss the far-better fish sandwiches there. My mother was born in Norfolk and went to college in Asheville, NC. I keep thinking VA or NC would be a good option.
That’s an awesome image. What kind of nature do you have around you within 15 minutes?
I made a little calendar to track my own resolutions (the things I want to do every day):

Nothing like measured progress to help keep me motivated! Even with just 2 days under my belt, I’m really motivated to not break the chain, hoping I can make it the whole month…and then the year‽‽
Thank you for sharing, Sarah.
How cool is that! That’s such a great idea…now I need to come up with two more things to do every day.
